Block Reward

Block rewards are the coins awarded to an individual/ group of miners upon solving the cryptographic problem. This is extremely crucial for creating a new block in the given Blockchain.

In order to create a new block in the Blockchain, groups of miners use specific mining equipment. While looking for block rewards, miners need to take into account another concept known as ‘halving’.
