Blockchains are predominantly distributed systems. It comprises several computers (nodes) allowing peer-to-peer transactions. So, nodes basically store, spread, and preserve the blockchain data. Depending on the purpose served, there are two types of nodes namely, full nodes and light nodes. Full nodes enforce rules over a particular blockchain network whereas a light node is a software that connects to full nodes. It further validates the information stored on the blockchain.
