Initial Dex Offerings (IDOs) are an alternative to ICOs, where the assets are hosted on a DEX (Decentralized Exchange). IDOs can be made for just about anything, including cryptocurrency, NFTs, and various other tokens.

IDOs hold several advantages over ICOs and IEOs including immediate liquidity, lower listing cost, and immediate trading. This offers both the investors and the project a clarity and sense of trust. Some of the most prominent examples of IDOs include Binance DEX, Uniswap, and Polkastarter.
