Initial public offerings or IPOs are the processes of fundraising for a company by launching shares on the stock market for the first time. It is through an IPO that a company can go public on the stock exchange, and raise capital within the process.

One of the most crucial aspects of an IPO is the share valuation. Prior to going public, the company needs to go through a rigorous diligence process to properly evaluate its potential share price.

Over the years, IPOs have become one of the most prominent roadmaps for companies to move forward with their business. With cryptocurrency, the initial coin offerings. (ICOs) cater a similar functionality to that of IPOs.
