Klinger Oscillator

The Klinger oscillator is one of the volume-based technical indicators that is used to forecast price reversals via volume to price within a given asset. Predominantly, the Klinger oscillator is used to forecast long-term flow trends within the market. Although it is also capable of identifying short-term variations in the price action as well.

The Klinger Oscillator is mainly used to predict buying and selling signals. A 13-period moving average line is used, sharing a close resemblance to the MACD indicator. When the Klinger oscillator crosses the signal line threshold, traders can become bullish and vice versa.
