Let's see what exactly the Mutant Ape Yacht Club is?

The Mutant Ape Yacht Club is a collection of 20,000 Mutant Apes that were created by exposing a Bored Ape to a vial of Mutant Serum. MAYC is a project by Yuga labs.

The MAYC is a strategy for rewarding Bored Ape holders with an entirely new NFT, a "freak" variety of their primates while allowing novices to participate in the BAYC biological system at a reduced degree of engagement. What is Mutant Serum?

Every Bored Ape holder was airdropped 10,000 Mutant Serums arbitrarily. Holders might then produce freaks by exposing their Bored Apes to the Serum for the cost of the gas.

The Mutant Serum vials were available in three sizes: M1, M2, or Mega Mutant (M3). If a Bored Ape is treated with an M1 or M2 Serum, the resulting Mutant Ape resembles the first gorilla.

Furthermore, a primate can only consume a particular type of Serum. The Serum will be burnt at the moment of use. This means that swallowing M1, M2, or M3 vials in a primate can result in three unique oddities. Furthermore, the Bored Ape shall remain unharmed in any way. In the meanwhile, BAYC holders were only authorized to use their Serum when the public sale was completed. As of today, there are no restrictions on using serums.

Surprisingly, not long after the airdrop, the Serums were swapped for a fee. To highlight, the Serum was provided free of charge to each BAYC holder!

What is Mutant arcade?

If you thought Mutant Apes and Mutant Serums were a lot to take in, wait till you see what's next! BAYC also released the Mutant Ape Arcade game, which is only available for three days.

Curtis, the founder of BAYC, is the protagonist of the game, which is set in a BAYC-inspired environment. The goal of the game is to beat The Mutant Ape and escape MAYC. If you are the winner, you will be prompted to provide your wallet address. Three days later, BAYC will airdrop a POAP to commemorate your win against the Mutant.
